Samuel Kalu has undergone another coronavirus test, Saturday PUNCH reports.
If the test is negative, he will rejoin the rest of the Bordeaux squad for training immediately on Monday.
The Nigerian winger became the second Super Eagles star to contract the virus after Genk striker, Paul Onuachu.
Kalu has been quarantined since he tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss Bordeaux’s pre-season friendly against Angers on Saturday (today).
Kalu, 22, faces an uncertain future at the Ligue 1 club after he failed to justify his big-money transfer.
Speculations have been rife about the forward being loaned out, with Galatasaray listed among his likely destinations.
He made 20 Ligue 1 appearances and scored once with an assist last season
